As the daughter of an immigrant family who moved to the U.S. from El Salvador, I understand the value of hard work and determination. Growing up with humble beginnings, my father started off bussing tables, and my mother worked as a housekeeper.
At the age of 11, I started working and helping my father with his business bookkeeping, which ignited my passion for finance and entrepreneurship.
Today, I am a successful small business owner and investor, running and operating MBSI, providing accounting, bookkeeping, and tax services to small business owners. With a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Science in Taxation, my experience is a combination of professional training and my own personal experience as a small business owner.
As a CPA and Enrolled Agent, I have dedicated my career to gaining the knowledge and expertise in finance to empower my clients and community.
In 2009, I planted the seed for the Mis Centavos movement, and for the last 14 years, I have been cooking up ideas to build the #miscentavos legacy.
My mission is to empower the Latine community through financial education and support, drawing from my own experience and expertise. I am committed to building a better future for my community and beyond.
